The goal of Excalibur for this project was to create a bow with the performance and smaller profile of a compound, while maintaining the durability and simplicity of a recurve. The bow uses Excalibur's in-house compression molded limbs mounted to the back of the riser, with the cams mounting to the front of the riser. With the cams in place and not out on the end of a moving limb, the whole system was able to be built for durability. The best part is how easy it is to service this bow- no press needed! You can work on the bow, change strings and cables etc. all by simply using the stringing aid and taking all the tension off the system. At under 11 inches wide when cocked and shooting 435 FPS this bow packs a lot of performance in a small package!
