The PSE 3-9x40mm Riflescope multi recticle is a great option and it is relatively affordable and easy to use.

The objective lens is 40mm in diameter, allowing plenty of light in and providing a large field of view, ensuring you can see as much as possible around the target you have set your sights on. The tube is 25mm in diameter, granting you loads of flexibility in mounting options. 

The adjustment turrets have threaded protective caps, removing these reveals the adjustment dials, which can be adjusted without tools or using a flathead screwdriver if you don't want to get your hands/scope dirty. The protective caps help the scope retain its zero even if you bump or knock the sight and aid in protecting the scope's delicate internals. The turret on the top of the scope provides elevation adjustment whilst the turret on the right side adjusts the windage.

The magnification adjustment ring can be found just ahead of the "eye-bell" of the scope. It can be rotated around the circumference of the scope to select your magnification setting ranging from 3x to 9x! This provides the perfect amount of adjustment for crossbow purposes. 

The PSE 3-9x40mm Riflescope also comes supplied with lens caps, so you can keep your scope safe during transport to and from your target shooting.
